These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of What's Wrong (the "Service"), a website that provides automated, AI-assisted home repair diagnosis reports. By using the Service or paying for a report, you agree to these Terms.
The Service uses an AI classification model (Jev, by TypeSafe AI) to analyze your written description of a home repair problem and generate an automated diagnosis report, including a likely cause, cost estimate, DIY-vs-professional recommendation, and (optionally) local service providers.
The Service is not a substitute for a professional inspection. It does not perform any physical inspection of your property, does not guarantee accuracy, and should not be relied upon as a binding quote, safety certification, or professional engineering/electrical/plumbing opinion. Always have a licensed professional inspect any safety-related issue before acting.
The free preview (category, urgency, and safety flag) is provided at no cost. The full report is a one-time paid purchase, processed securely through Stripe. Prices are shown in CAD before purchase. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
Provider listings (when a postal code is supplied) are sourced from Google Places and reflect publicly available ratings/review counts at the time of lookup. We do not endorse, vet, insure, or guarantee the work of any listed provider, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with them.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, What's Wrong and its operators are not liable for any damages, losses, or costs (including property damage or personal injury) arising from your reliance on a report generated by the Service.
You agree not to use the Service to submit abusive, illegal, or harmful content, or to attempt to automate/scrape the Service beyond normal personal use.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
